There might be people who have faced an embarrassing experience when their blog was suddenly removed/deleted/disabled/spammed by Blogger.com. This experience is already faced by us when OnlineUstaad.com was hosted on blogger and on 22th April, 2013 it was disabled by blogger, and we were not able to do anything instantly. While we took every single measure to restore our blog on the same platform (Blogger.com) but we failed because it took many days for them to review our blog which was a one and half year blog having more than 270 posts published. Still, I’m waiting for blogger to complete the review of my blog and it is about 7th Month going on since the incident took place. What I actually did to restore my blog to normal will be shared with you via this post. But remember, my all struggles didn’t get restored my blog back. But of course, this is the procedure you can follow to restore your blog back. I still don’t know what happened with me on blogger. But I’ll tell you the major reasons when your blog may be spammed/disabled/removed by blogger. So you should avoid them.


What should you do when your blog is spammed/removed?

If your blog is marked as spam or removed by Blogger, but you still can access to your blogger account then you’ll see a message saying “Your blog was marked as spam by automatic classification system”. So when you see this message next to your blog which is removed and not opening now, so you must also see an option with that blog saying “Restore this blog“.
You have to take 2 instant steps in order to restore your blog back to normal, first of all, click on “Restore this blog” which appears next to your deleted blog, and just enter the captcha and email you want blogger team to contact you back. After doing so, go to the following link and start a new thread for your issue, put everything about your blog there and request for its restoration and review process. Use a polite language there and don’t call other people or your friends to participate in the discussion because it will be harder for them to answer every question. There are top contributors and even specialist from blogger who will guide you further to restore your blog to normal, while you have to be patience in this regard.  Here is the link to start a quick thread:
So after starting your thread on blogger help forum, check it regularly for getting your issue resolved soon. You may check it after every hour because blogger top contributor may ask you some questions, so you need to answer their questions in order for the blog to be restored within less time. And don’t post anything that is irrelevant to the topic. Moreover, you’ll also be informed via Email by blogger team for the initial restoration report as well as the discussion which is going on for the review process over the forum.

Why my Blog was deleted/spammed by blogger?

On this occasion we want to say a “Happy Eid Mubarak” to all of our readers and visitors who made this blog the most visited blog in Pakistan and India, we thank them for their kind support and precious time to read our articles/tutorials.

This blog (OnlineUstaad.com) was started on 3rd December in 2011, you can check the domain age by going to who.is. It was firstly hosted on blogger.com and after one and half year of its success, sudenly blogger disable this blog and removed it from their servers. We were shocked at that time, but we never gave up and sat up this blog on WordPress. We started it again from 0, and now Alhamdullillah we are ranked on the top for the same keywords when we were on blogger. Moreover, we are now receiving the same traffic we were receiving on blogger. So this is the journey going on and after a month we’ll complete our 2 years Inshallah.
During this period of time, you guys supported us a lot in terms of great feedback and also taking our services and courses in DVDs which we’ll always appreciate and we can’t find words to admire your support and love you showed for this small blog.

Have you noticed recently that up to 90% massive drop down in Google Search Traffic Worldwide? If you are a blogger then definitely yes, because most of the bloggers noticed it and posted it everywhere on the internet.
That’s all happening just because of new update made by Google to its search algorithm. Google’s new algorithm is named as “Hummingbird“. Google has become much better at offering up direct answers to questions asked by end user that’s because Google recently flipped the switch on a new search algorithm which will focus on parsing searches as complex queries.

“Hummingbird” a new Search Algorithm:

“Hummingbird” is actually the logical step made by Google towards separating the best material from the Internet. Now Google will put less emphasis on matching keywords so search results will be more emphasis on understanding what a user is most likely hoping to obtain. The ways through which Google crawls the World Wide Web will be remained same as it was in past, but the search results will be determined to best suit the user experience.

What Google want to achieve?

Google actually wants to keep pace with the evolution of Worldwide Internet usage. Search queries got more complex so, traditional keyword based system is not showing what a user is most likely expecting to obtain that’s why there is need to match concepts and meanings instead of keywords. So Google makes an effort to match the meaning of queries instead of matching keywords.

Benefits of Hummingbird Algorithm:

1. Search Engine can parse full query more quickly.
2. Google will be able to identify and rank content it has indexed with relevant queries.
3. Search Engine can compile voice-based queries more accurately.
4. Google will only return relevant search results. Irrelevant results will be discarded.
5. Search Results would be determined to best suit the user experience.

Drawbacks of Hummingbird Algorithm:

1. Google becomes more powerful. So webmaster will totally dependent upon Google.
2. Small blogs having great content usually get penalized.
3. Large website in the corporate world mostly gets more exposure.

Google’s New Hummingbird Search Algorithm

Have you noticed recently that up to 90% massive drop down in Google Search Traffic Worldwide? If you are a blogger then definitely yes, because most of the bloggers noticed it and posted it everywhere on the internet.
That’s all happening just because of new update made by Google to its search algorithm. Google’s new algorithm is named as “Hummingbird“. Google has become much better at offering up direct answers to questions asked by end user that’s because Google recently flipped the switch on a new search algorithm which will focus on parsing searches as complex queries.

“Hummingbird” a new Search Algorithm:

“Hummingbird” is actually the logical step made by Google towards separating the best material from the Internet. Now Google will put less emphasis on matching keywords so search results will be more emphasis on understanding what a user is most likely hoping to obtain. The ways through which Google crawls the World Wide Web will be remained same as it was in past, but the search results will be determined to best suit the user experience.

What Google want to achieve?

Google actually wants to keep pace with the evolution of Worldwide Internet usage. Search queries got more complex so, traditional keyword based system is not showing what a user is most likely expecting to obtain that’s why there is need to match concepts and meanings instead of keywords. So Google makes an effort to match the meaning of queries instead of matching keywords.

Benefits of Hummingbird Algorithm:

1. Search Engine can parse full query more quickly.
2. Google will be able to identify and rank content it has indexed with relevant queries.
3. Search Engine can compile voice-based queries more accurately.
4. Google will only return relevant search results. Irrelevant results will be discarded.
5. Search Results would be determined to best suit the user experience.

Drawbacks of Hummingbird Algorithm:

1. Google becomes more powerful. So webmaster will totally dependent upon Google.
2. Small blogs having great content usually get penalized.
3. Large website in the corporate world mostly gets more exposure.
4. It is harder to get profit from your own original content.

One of the effective ways for getting backlinks for your website/blog is guest posting for other blogs who have guest posting enabled. Getting Dofollow backlinks is very difficult job now a days, because most of the blog directories have nofollow attribute to the external links, and blog commenting is also resulting a nofollow link.
